I'm Marlee, a documentary and nature photographer from Germantown, MD. I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, GA in 2020 with my BFA in Documentary Photography.
I photograph because I love the idea of capturing one single moment in time, forever. It's a way of freezing time. . . a way of time traveling. Photographs can and do change the world.
I'm passionate about a variety of things, the biggest being photography, wildlife and nature conservation, and wrestling. Yes, wrestling. WWE, AEW, NXT style wrestling. The kind where people hit other people with steel chairs and flip off ropes. Now, what does this have to do with photography you ask? Well, my passion, love, and admiration for wrestling and the men and, in particular the women, who perform in the business of sports entertainment are some of my biggest inspirations. They are fearless, strong, determined, and unapologetically themselves. I aspire to tackle all aspects of my life with this attitude and mindset, especially when it comes to my photography.
